Carnoustie 24 - Turnberry Holiday Park - short walk to beach

Our host Heather sent us instructions in advance, easy to follow and easy to find our caravan. The caravan was clean, tidy and the kitchen was really well equipped with all the bits and bobs that you might forget to bring with. We had a lovely view over the water to Ailsa Craig.

Everything went very smoothly, the caravan was bigger than expected and everything was cozy and warm. Worth mentioning that Heather provides essentials like salt, oil and a few spices, to make cooking easy. Thank you so much!

I'm in the Girvan area regularly for work and as such, I've stayed in pretty much all of the local hotels, Airbnbs, etc. However, Heather's static caravan is without a doubt one of my favourite places to stay, and so I've stayed here several times. The space is well-equipped with all the furnishings and appliances you could need, and the bed is exceptionally comfy. In addition, the interior is well decorated and very homely, which goes a long way to making the caravan feel like a home-away-from-home. Excellent value for money. The WiFi is a decent speed and suitable for most tasks, including streaming and video calls. If there's ever been any questions or concerns, Heather has been very helpful in resolving.

Beautiful views from the living room. For us with the rain coming down, we felt cosy and snug. Nice and quiet, very relaxing

Working the oven, though purely cause I wasn't used to a non fan. Certainly nothing stop a great relaxing weekend.

A cosy home from home! Lovely clean caravan with everything you need to feel at home. Lovely views over the fields to the sea and Ailsa Craig. Good location, just a short drive into Girvan. Our host was very welcoming and provided map and information prior to our stay. Highly recommend 😊

The one thing no host can control, the weather! We did not make use of any park facilities but may have used the pool had we stayed for longer. If you are expecting all the bells and whistles of a large well-known brand of holiday park then this is not for you. This is a small peaceful park.

The caravan was very nice and clean

Very quiet location with lovely view and friendly neighbours.

The access lane could do with some repairs. Maybe some local walking maps would be helpful (We struggled to find a path from Turnberry Lighthouse to Curzean Castle)
