The parking slot was not so convenient, especially on a heavy snow day, the staff better clean the snow in the morning for easier driving!

Excellent location. Ideal for our two families. Well set up.

No issues.

Amazing location, comfy beds, fabulous that we had seperate bedrooms for us and the kids. All the comforts of home in the kitchen and just loved that we were surrounded by snow.

Its called Alpine Chalet but actually is Alpine Villa - that was confusing but luckily we had a native speaker taxi driver and he was able to sort it for us.

Nothing to hang up clothes - tiny space for a family.

The holiday home we booked was spacious for a group of 6 and turns out (because we were given a different address to the listing), was ski in ski out. Not overly great for us though because we thought we would be closer to town, which was now a 40 minute walk downhill in ice. This, of course means you need to walk back uphill in ice to get home.

*PLEASE READ* We booked a holiday home with Alpine Chalet because of the convenient location to town. The day before check in, we received a message from management explaining the check in process (management are off-site) and the address. What I didn’t realise at the time was that the address of our chosen holiday home was 3.5km away from the address on the listing!! We arrived at 5:30pm on NYE to the Alpine Chalet address and couldn’t find the building we booked. When we called, management told us that although we booked with Alpine Chalets, there was another site called Alpine Condo. They said they couldn’t help us because their shuttle drivers went home and to call a taxi. At this point, it’s pitch black, snowing heavily and NYE. We asked if they could call a taxi for us but they said no. I’m sure they knew there was no chance to get a taxi, which was soon evident as the call lines were busy and Uber was stuck on “finding you a driver”. The only thing we could do was walk, but due to the heavily falling snow, centimetres of snow cover on the footpath and heavy bags, we were only able to make it 500m in 30-45 minutes. Fortunately, Echo Hotel empathised with us an offered us their own hotel shuttle bus to take us to our accom! Not even our own hosts would take us!!! Will not be booking here again as staff are soo cold and unhelpful. I don’t want to think what would have happened if Echo Hotel didn’t help us. It was very dire.
