Hakuba Happo Log Chalets

Great place to stay in Hakuba. Short walk to Happo One and all it has to offer.

Great little cabin, warm and cosy. Great location and close to where we needed to go.

Beds are a little old and saggy, not super comfortable.

The location is near to many restaurants and central to many ski resorts. We stayed for 7 nights, the host came to replace our towers 2 times.

The olace was private, cute andctoastu warm. Ax10 minute walk to a public onsen and a supermarket so we could shop and cook our own meals.

Good location , 5-10min walk away from the bus terminal & train station , good sized rooms , good kitchen equipment for basic home cooking , towels changed every couple days and rubbish taken away also

The toilet & shower area don’t have any heating and are very cold/almost freezing during winter , might be ok during summer , beds could be slightly more comfy , however is personal preference

The living room and upstairs bedrooms’ heater were warm enough. Living room can be quite small for 4 pax with luggages. Not much space to walk around without knocking into each other.

There is no slippers provided in the house. The bathroom was freezing cold. We have to buy a pair of slippers to wear while bathing because the icy cold floor really hurt our feet. The upstairs bedrooms have no tables to put our phones and stuffs, we have to put everything on the floor near the beds. The floor above the stairs is creaking so loudly that every time someone walk over, it can be quite noisy.

Great location for a ski trip to Hakuba - only a short walk to both the train station and bus terminal. Beds were comfy after a long day skiing and everything worked really well. Short walking distance to plenty of good restaurants too!

Host was very friendly, helpful and flexible.
