"Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Matera!"

Absolutely everything! Perfect location, equipped with everything we needed and more. The host left milk, coffee and toast for us, enough for each morning a really thoughtful touch. They even text during our stay to make sure we were ok. Great place and great hosts!

10/10 is not enough. Beautiful and clean apartment, great equipment, perfect location in the center of Sassi, but in a quiet street. But most importantly, wonderful hosts who allowed us to check in early and we could shelter from the heat. Great contact. I recommend this place!

"Beautiful cave home with convenient location to explore Matera"

The location was convenient to restaurants and shops. It was fun staying in an original cave home.

The only thing that could have been better was we did not know that there were two ways to get to the cave home. The closest was from up high. We came in on the low level and walked up a lot of steps to our room. Beautiful cave home with a convenient location.

Location was great. Apartment small but well appointed, functional kitchen. Clean and tidy, very comfortable beds. Luckily found free parking close by

"A classic cave stay"

This is a classic Matera cave stay. It's on the top level of the Sasso and so walking to any part of the new town is easy. It's quiet at night and it gets good light during the day.

The blurb says parking is possible. It may be possible but it's not probable. If you want nearby parking, you'll need luck and timing. Otherwise, be prepared to be some distance away.

"Like no other in the best possible way!"

Exceptional! We really enjoyed our stay. Well situated within the Sassi. Esthetically, it matches the setting of the Sassi, but it is modern, cleverly and tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. We found the hosting to be very responsive. Highly recommend this property.
