Casa Do Pescador Olhão

Everything was great. From meeting Jenny and Teun to introduce us to Casa do Pescador until we left 6 days later we enjoyed everything. The casa has been renovated very well by the both of you, Jenny and Teun. Nice decorations and furniture, well equipped and so inviting. We loved the rooftop terrace and had such a nice time hanging out there. Thanks a lot!

Such an amazing place! It’s all perfect! Neraby restaurants and shop! The hosts are so kind! They explained everything about the house and care of us! The house is so special! The terrace impresive! We will come back for sure!

it was a pleasure to meet both Teun and Jenny, lovely owners of the property. the location is perfect and short walking distance to the fish market and port to visit the Ria Formosa and I am really happy with the facilities and conditions of the property. highly recommended.

The apartment had lovely details and the ancient stone ceiling with the lightning at the ground was fantastic. We really enjoyed the roof terrace, comfortably furnished with a view to the sunset over the roof tops. Conveniently located with short distance to restaurants, the market by the harbour. We would love to come back some day.

No problem for us, but be aware of very steep and narrow stairways between the floors and to the roof terrace that will not fit all, e.g. small children and elderly people.

A superb property with exceptional hosts. A well maintained 3 level apartment in a central location,can easily access all parts of the Algarve. Modern decor throughout the property,whilst preserving some original features,like the Stine built ceilings on the bottom level. Jenny and Teun met us at a late hour for check in,very much appreciated, and talked us through everything. They were also kind enough to leave a bottle of champagne and chocolates as it was a special occasion. Very thoughtful. They were also very thoughtful and considerate allowing us a late check out,as our flight was late in the evening. Thank you Jenny and Teun for a making our week special.

Can be a little noisy at night on the weekend,but it is in a great location. WiFi needs to be extended to the ground level of the apartment.

The owners, Teun and Jenny, were so friendly. Nothing too much trouble for them. The house is very comfortable with a great roof terrace - you have to be agile to use the stairs though! The house is only 3 minutes walk from the seafront, cafes, bars and restaurants. Fabulous location for a relaxing holiday.

For British guests, a better selection of breakfast cereal bowls and cups.

We had the most amazing welcome by Jenny and Teun. Such a kind couple who wanted us to really enjoy our stay. Thank you for the wine and water, much appreciated. This lovely old home has been so beautifully renovated and with such style. The bed is incredibly comfortable and we're massively fussy on that one. Also everything you could possibly need and more. The roof terrace is perfect, very comfortable to just lounge around, read, listen to music and grab another glass of wine from the fridge (2 fridges, one in living area and one on roof terrace). So civilised. The area is very local with several mini markets within 4 min walk in different directions. Also an easy, short walk into town to the amazing restaurants. Our favourite breakfast/coffee/brunch place was Figo de Pita, literally 2 minutes away. Thank you Jenny and Teun for our stay.

When we return we both need to be a tad fitter (we're in our mid 60's) as the stairs are fairly steep. But bright young things will have no issue.
