The location was perfect for accessing the old town and restaurants. The hosts organised secure parking and were extremely friendly, informative and helpful at both check in and check out. The historic house was absolutely stunning- recently renovated and decorated to the highest standards, great air con and with lovely views. An excellent breakfast was provided. We highly recommend this properly and its hosts.

Excelente alojamiento de 3 pisos. Los dueños nos recogieron en el parking dado que hay una zona de tráfico prohibido. Excelente recibimiento de los hosts. Excelente vista al cañon

"Super stylish stay in Matera"

Stunning house of exceptional style, in a fantastic location and easy stroll to everything in Matera. Everything had been thought of, breakfast was great with pastries and loads of fruit. Coffee machine, kettle, aircon and fans, beautiful bathrooms. Loads of light. Eustachio and his wife were so incredibly friendly and helpful, and rightly very proud of their beautiful home. We loved it! Excellent value for money.

Das Haus in Matera ist einfach traumhaft. Der Ausblick in die Schlucht ist atemberaubend und die Unterkunft selbst wunderschön gestaltet. Die Ausstatttung ist sehr Luxuriös und mit viel Gesschmack eingerichtet. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die unglaublich freundliche und herzliche Familie, die uns empfangen hat - man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Wir haben unseren kurzen Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genossen und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

"Perfection"

This is the most beautiful apartment, spotlessly clean, a large modern bathroom and very comfy bed and lounge area. All the bedrooms are at the back so there was no street noise during the night. Location is perfect, just inside the Sassi so no struggling up and down streets with luggage, and also very close to Matera’s main squares with many bars & restaurants. Eustachio & Benedetta were fabulous hosts. They met us at the apartment and provided lots of useful information about Matera and its history. They provided a great selection of sweet & savoury breakfast items which lasted for the full 3 days They also checked in with us via WhatsApp to see if we needed anything during our stay. Matera is an amazing place, we had planned to visit Gravina on one day but we ended up spending our time just exploring the Sassi and the rest of Matera. Having this amazing house to relax in after strenuous days was a real bonus and we would fully recommend it.
