Our host, Eustachio, warmly welcomed us on arrival, making sure our car was securely parked and giving us a tour of the beautifully renovated home. Modern and tastefully decorated, it was perfect for our group of 4. The table was set for us with a choice of amazing fresh pastries and quiches from the local bakery, such a treat as we had travelled all day to Matera! Perfectly located with views across the valley and a short walk to the Sassi and local restaurants. Eustachio gave us a list of his favourite eating places, we tried 2 of them and both amazing! Highly recommended!

The breakfast was fantastic. A variety of pastries The place was super clean. Thanks Eustachio and Benedetta. They were amazing, helped us arrange transportation, we arrived very late due to our missed flight connection & they were there to welcome us, very humble & accommodating. The place felt very comfortable & homey, there was a special feeling there. A lot of love & care went into this very special place & was kept in the family. Actually preferred its location compared to other places, very convenient. I slept with the door open to the outside to hear the river below, so peaceful. I would come back here in a heartbeat. The pictures of the unit are great & are even better in real life

Everything was amazing

It is very hard not to repeat what all the previous guests have written! We stayed 20th July 2025 Eustacio and Benedetta were fabulous hosts with a beautiful home in an amazing location for us to stay in. As we struggled a bit to find the location, Eustacio came on his moped to guide us to the private locked garage where we left our car. The home is so beautifully renovated and has plenty of space. The hosts left us a lovely selection of fruit, filled rolls, pastries, toasts, jams, milk and many coffee pods. Quality bed linen and fluffy towels. 10 mins walk to Sassi. Many restaurants. Stunning views of a beautiful old town with so much history. Would 100% recommend to anyone considering staying as you will not be disappointed. We would love to visit again one day and stay for longer! Many thanks.

Everything about this property and the hosts Bernadetta and Eustachio are beyond exceptional 👏 👌and very helpful at all times. Eustachio and Bernedetta are amazing beautiful people, they provided beautiful pastries, croissants filled with amazing fillings, bread, juices, butter, jams, ham, milk and a magnificent bowl of fresh fruits. The house is absolutely amazing and beautiful and super super super clean, has amazing views of the canyon, and amazing views walking into the old town, which is on the door step. There is nothing to not like .

The property is situated in a ideal location to see the local town. It is a beautiful modern apartment in great condition! We had the whole apartment to ourselves which was wonderful Eustachio and Benedetta were simply superb, they provided tasty fresh breakfast each morning and made us feel at home. They were very attentive to our needs.

The apartment was very modern, with excellent amenities including a very generous breakfast. Great location for sightseeing.

Great welcome by Eustachio and his wife. They gave us the complete tour of the very spacious house. Magnificent 3-bedroom property, brilliantly renovated, nice materials, very clean. Great view on the valley below. Close to the historical city centre and Sassi. Private parking close by, nice cool inside, even with 38 degrees outside. Great croissants from a local bakery! We got nice birthday wishes afterwards ;-)
