Unique, cosy, Lake District artist hideaway - 5 bd

The location was great. Very close to the centre of the town and shops

There was mud in one of the beds when we arrived The floor through the kitchen and bathroom was dirty and in need of replacement We did not like that there we multiple smart devices through the house including bedrooms.

All facilities available, good communication with the owner

Run down decor, stairs very steep and unsafe for children. Neighbours up all night, been loud, swearing and the smell of drugs been smoked was strong

There was a nice selection of games

The floor was in need of repair and it had an old musty smell

There werent spare keys on the table as listed, there were no toilet rolls and the bins in the kitchen were full of rubbish.

The house was fine. Just what we needed for a base. Clean and tidy.

The location was poor. Whilst the walks were stunning there was nowhere to go for an evening meal locally and there was alot if abuse from locals who were shouting out of their cars. Outside one of the pubs people were openly smoking weed.
