"Completely disappointed and extremely annoyed with the service"

4.0

The heating was switched off and we could not turn it on….we telephoned the help line 3 times and left messages on our arrival and no one came back to us…. Made them aware that we had 2 babies and 1 child with us…..no response until late Saturday morning with our predicament . We had to pay for an online help with a certified gas engineer. The photos on the web page does not reflect the appearance of the rooms in the house …..tap continuously dripping in the kitchen and a terrible smell. We had to sleep huddled together the first night we were there as the house was sub zero due to the heating not working…as we stayed in February. This house is more suited equipped for trade professionals Monday to Friday not for Family

"An enjoyable stay."

8.0

70 Queens Road was easy to find, sparkling clean, and comfortable with good facilities. Having my toddler grandson with us meant the washing machine was a boon and he loved the single bed. We were all comfortable, the games were great for a rainy evening, and there were nice touches such as dishwasher and washing machine pods and tea and coffee and milk pots.

A paucity of teaspoons! Only two teaspoons in the drawer. A tiny niggle.

"ok stay but expensive taxis getting to city."

5.0

The size of the property was perfect

The property wasn't clean - the loft shower was temperamental. The house we booked was changed last minute and we were not able to walk into Chester with the new property. We spent so much money on taxis over the weekend. We had no option to take this property as Chester was fully booked up and there was 9 of us. Overall the house we ended up in was not up to what we expected

"Perfect location for our family stay in Chester"

8.0

The glass in the front door had obviously been broken as it was boarded up - not a very good first impression.( it would have been good to have been advised of this) We then realised, as the house was next to a cricket club ,it was probably a stray cricket ball much better than our first thought of vandalism!!.

"Perfect location"

9.0

Location was perfect and the property was very spacious and comfortable.

We were given the wrong lock box key code so it took a long while to contact someone for the right one. It was late and we were cold. On entry the front door slammed and the glass broke which caused a few issues but the owner was great and got a repair sorted.

"Excellent for parking - more expensive than most but a high standard finish throughout."

9.0

Great property for parking, all the rooms were good sizes and the kitchen was kitted out with all the essentials.

A handy man visited the property while we were out, they removed a lock off a door with no communication this was going to happen until after it had occurred. With the cost of the property being at the top end of the scale you would of thought something like that would of been sorted before or after the stay.
