Rymmon Retreat

Rymmon Retreat was a memorable stop on our three week trip through Scotland. The location was perfect (we went hoping to glimpse the Northern Lights but rain won that battle). It was starkly isolated as you would hope a property in Orkney would be but spacious, comfortable and well appointed. The sunset from the deck was spectacular (pre-rain) and we left regretting that we only had the one night. It definitely felt like "home on the road". Couldn't recommend it more highly.

It would be hard to find any suggestions that would have improved our stay! OK - less rain but it is Scotland.

Second bedroom, very narrow beds, probably suitable for children rather than adults, was able to use folding bed in main living area.

this was a private single - had a lovely kitchen if you wanted to bring food and cook.

It was a wee bit cold the heat didn't seem to warm up quickly

Very compact, cosy and warm in a splendid setting.

We were amazed that the property was so far out, however, it was right by the things that we were there to see. It is a little cramped for big people but CLEAN and comfortable after we got settled.

The room with twin beds was too small for two people and the location was difficult to find.

It was an amazing stay. Unfortunately just for one night, but I can definitely imagine longer stay in such a cozy and beautiful place! It was very clean and well equipped and the surroundings were awesome. ☺️

Sarah has provided everything you could think of , which made our stay so comfortable .
