The house was beautiful. We loved where it was, the kitchen was well equipped,

The shower was downstairs,this was a problem as my elderly father was with us That was the main issue, also the bunk beds are for children so my 32 yr old had to bend a bit

It is tastefully decorated, well maintained and clean. We loved the space and that homely feeling. The kitchen was fully equipped and even had basic condiments that we could use :P The owner Ben was very helpful and responsive when we had questions. Provided portable heater for us as well. Made us feel very welcome & "at home".

The bathroom upstairs had no shower facilities - there was a jacuzzi but not very practical for us on a short stay. The sink had a hot tap & a cold tap, so we had to wash our hands in freezing cold water - would be good if there is a mixer. We had to shower in the ground floor shower, which was a bit tight but there was a heater & hot rods, so it was warm and good.

Lovely space . Easy to have a grannie over for breakfast. We were in and out for 2 days. Everything you need really. No complaints and were able to have a late checkout to 1 pm which was most appreciated because of above.

Had a problem with the fuze in kitchen with toaster/ kettle popping but someone managed to find the box and switch it back on. Floor was amusing with it having different levels but it’s the charm of older homes. So really nothing to complain about.

Only one shower room at.the ground floor The other bathroom at the 1st floor has separated warm n cold water pipe jakuzzi which we find it not suitable.for short stay X̌

Location was good .. easy walk into the city

The house is in a good, quiet location, close to the city centre. It is spacious and well equipped.

The bed was comfortable but the springs were noisy.

Lovely modernised Art Deco house. Well furnished and very comfortable

The bathrooms were not as expected. Even though there were two only one had a shower, the other just a spa bath which was not practical for two couples. The second bathroom was downstairs and quite small.

Private and quiet neighborhood on hill overlooking harbor. Easy to cbd and Otago peninsula. Groceries close by. Nice decor. Comfortable living space. Kitchen well equipped and helpful supplies provided. Garden space lovely.

Bathroom arrangement unusual with shower downstairs and bedrooms upstairs but workable.
