Art Deco Delight

A beautiful period house with lots of character right next to the picturesque town belt. We really loved staying here for a few days. Everything worked well. Very nice touch with the golf clubs to use at the Belleknowes public Golf Course next door. Lovely garden.

No shower upstairs but that's a very minor quibble.

Warmth from big efficient heat pumps and room heaters, quiet street, homey atmosphere, easy check-in. It was too cold to enjoy the garden sadly.

The tiny shower tacked on to the laundry was a bad surprise when we expected 2 full bathrooms. We felt that having to check out at 10am and having to do dishes and rubbish was a bit unreasonable, and were glad of some extra time. Having to deal with multiple decorative cushions and pillows even on the kids beds, is a nuisance. The iron beds squeaked very loudly and disturbed us all night.

Everything was perfect.

The home is superb, had everything one could want for an extended stay, we wish we could have stayed longer. Having the whole house with just the two of us was great. Kate who met us there was a bonus, a lovely lady. Thanks for the Golf clubs.

Quirky design. Nice view. Heating warmed up quickly. TV selection good.

Second shower instead of bath more useful upstairs and a sink in the upstairs toilet would be useful.
