"Home from home"

We stayed here for two weeks, it was a perfect location for driving to all the places we wanted to go. The accomodation was clean and had everything we needed, it was like a home from home we absolutely loved our time here. It was so nice getting back from hiking and relaxing on the balcony with drinks! We walked down and back to Funchal on a couple of occasions which didn't take long at all.

My only suggestion would be some sort of heater for the winter/colder months, although we did have extra blankets.

"Exceeded all expectations"

We had amazing time at this accommodation. The view from the balcony is absolutely breathtaking! The apartment is very spacious and has everything you need for a convenient stay. The neighbourhood is calm and further away from the busy city centre. It's up quite a steep hill, so walking to the accommodation from the city centre could be quite an exercise. But there are quite frequent buses as well as the taxi. With the Bolt taxi app, the ride from the city centre to the apartment was 4-5 euros, so if there are 2 or more people it's about the same cost as of the bus (single ticket 1,95).
