Granny's house view

Nice, quite spacious and comfortable flat equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Particularly noteworthy is the terrace overlooking the ocean, where you can eat your meals while admiring the surroundings. There is also a small garden with a special barbecue area.

The entrance to the private parking space can be a challenge for drivers not used to driving up quite steep hills.

We appreciate the beautiful view, the fact that this place was spacious and the responsible approach by the host, who provided us with all the necessary information on the day of check in.

The host was wery nice and polite. He waited for us late at night when our flight landed. Showed us everything. The house is nice, clean and comfortable. The view is amazing. There is also iron, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave. Would definetely stay there again.

The streets are very steep and it is little bit scary to drive with car but it is what it is. It is Madeira :)

I fell in love with this cosy house right at the beginning. The host is super friendly and welcoming. The view is stunning day and night. The house itself ist big enough for 4 persons and equiped with everything one could think of. There is no problem to walk down the city. For the way back there are public buses driving regularly. It's also not a problem to take the bus 20 to Monte. If you want to visit Pico Arieiro, the street to drive there is nearby. Everything was absolutely perfect. For a second stay I would definitely choose this place again 👍

The view is stunning. IT's a very cosy house with nice garden area, well equipped kitchen .Tidy and clean. The owner is very nice, easy going and helpful guy.

I will repeat the same thing as other guests - the terrace is amazing! Also the garden is very pretty - so you can fully relax with the view of Funchal. The flat is well-equipped and comfy (even though some of the furniture is a bit oldschool). Thanks for the nice welcome, Pedro!

You have to take very steep roads to get to the accommodation - both the public parking and the parking in the property are quite tricky (narrow and steep), so it caused us some problems with the rented car (we even scratched it). We wish we didn’t have a car and could use public transport. The main bedroom smelled a bit old and dusty, especially the closet. The place is quite close to the main road and you can hear the cars. The city is around 20-30 mins walking, so you can’t really feel its atmosphere. The house is perfect if you prefer to be in a quieter place, far from tourists - but also further from the city center.
