Stunning 3 bedroom 3 bath self catering cottage nr Stonehenge, Salisbury, Longleat, Avebury and Bath, Short walk to lovely village pub

Absolutely charming atmosphere. Quiet and peaceful.

Good set up. Nice garden and well equipped kitchen. Great communication and well-written directions/instructions etc. Lots of toys for kids to play with. Good value for money compared with booking multiple hotel rooms, and much more pleasant when staying with young children. It looked like there were lots of nice walks you could do directly from the hotel but the weather wasn't suitable for long walks when we were there.

Not really a problem, just thought I would note that the room with the two single beds is quite far from the other bedrooms, for those with small children who are likely to wake in the night and come looking for their parents (we left a couple of lights on so they could find their way upstairs but I don't think they would have managed as toddlers).

Mary & Simon should win a prize for their work on this property. Everything is thought through and well prepared. A great place for those who want to visit the sights in Wiltshire, or who just want to stay at the cottage and relax.

The cottage was amazing, cosy and clean with loads of storage space. Kitchen was a perfect size. Bedrooms all had good size en-suites and the beds were very comfortable. Lovely walks around the local area.

Really comfortable and well-equipped. Just felt like a home from home. All ensuite was great, toddler was delighted by the toys. The kitchen table was a good size and a perfect place to congregate to play family games in the evening. Walks from the house were lovely when the weather allowed and a visit to Avebury was well worthwhile. Mary was very welcoming and clearly available if we needed her although we didn’t have any problems.

The sofas were a little uncomfortable for us but not too bad and we spent most time in the kitchen anyway so not a huge issue.

Twin beds a bit hard

Beautiful cottage with a great garden and outside space. Indoors very comfortable - loved the big kitchen table. Great for meals, games, puzzles and family activities. All bedrooms had an en-suite and the beds were very comfortable! Milk, tea, coffee and biscuits ( and other basics) available on arrival which was a nice touch. Location was perfect for exploring Avebury, Stonehenge and Bath etc. wonderful village pub too with great food and atmosphere!!

Nothing to dislike.
