Kilkeel Bungalow - the PERFECT place to stay

Our hosts were really very friendly people, and the accommodation had everything we could possibly need. We liked it a lot.

I loved everything about the property. The owners were so friendly and helpful in our quest to locate our ancestry. My only disappointment was that I didn’t stay longer. I would definitely go back.

Seriously….nothing! I’m not just saying this, the property is beautiful and well kept, the owners are friendly and caring. It is well situated for sightseeing and restaurants.

This was the nicest place we have stayed yet! Beats any hotels we have stayed in it’s like home, the hosts left some snack and milk for us to get us started you wouldn’t get it nowhere.

We loved everything from the moment we landed, Bernie and her husband greeted us shortly after we arrived they are very friendly and kind people, the house was just amazing sooo clean and felt like home from home everything your heart would desire is in it, beds very comfortable Tv and Wifi all there, it's just a short walk from a petrol station and a short drive from the town, at the house is very peaceful and during the night very quite everywhere, my husband and daughter loved it all to we will certainly recommend this property and should the chance to stay again arrive we certainly will,

Everything that you could think of was provided on the property. Or if you do find something, then the owners are right next door and are more than happy to help. The owners are very kind and go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The bungalow is far enough from the road to have absolute silence. Town center and seaside in walking distance, and a petrol station with necessities is right across the street. Our two boys very much enjoyed the backyard with a swing and small table for coloring and water experiments. They also appreciated the wide range of streaming services available (Netflix, Prime, Disney+), especially in the morning, which was a big comfort for us, as we got some extra minutes of sleep;) We loved our stay and can't wait to come back next year.

Maybe if you like to cook your own meal, you could need some extra items in the kitchen (bigger pots, a whisk), but you can work around this if you try and it's another reason to eat out and try the local fish and chips (best I've tried!). Besides who goes on vacation and cooks by themselves, so I'm being a bit fussy here;) The place is so perfect that you really have to try very hard to find something you do not like about it.

The property was beautifully decorated and very clean. The hosts were thoughtful and kind and we had lovely stay. The enclosed back garden was ideal for the children and the house itself was surprisingly spacious. Very good value for money and would highly recommend.

Frank and Bernie were perfect hosts, welcomed us and were available if there were any problems - which there weren't. The Mourne area and coastal drive is really beautiful
