Kilkeel Bungalow - the PERFECT place to stay

House was spotlessly clean.. had everything you would need. Was comfy and warm.. close to shop , close to town.

Was nothing I didnt like.. had a lovely weekend

The owners lives right next to bungalow...actually the bungalow is at the backyard of their site. They were very friendly and came in 5 mins whenever we needed something. They were also very hospitable; left us some chocolate, chips, apples, milk, coffee, tea, etc. The interior decoration of the bungalow was absolutely lovely. It was also well-equipped; the kitchen had everything we could expect. There was a smart tv, good wifi, etc. Also there was a great supermarket in 3 mins drive the owner recommended us. We just loved to stayed here!

Basically nothing. If I have to write anything, then it's maybe the heating. It has a strong heating with radiators in every room, and if you turn it on the apartment warms up quickly, but then then you turn it off as it's too warm...then turn it on again in a few hours when you feel cold...we had to play with it, but it wasn't a big deal. So, very very recommended!

Brilliant location, close to the town and a shop very nearby. The property was lovely, very comfortable and had everything we needed and more! There was snacks, milk and much more on arrival and the wonderful hosts of the property also very kindly brought us round some freshly made bread one morning, it was delicious! We will definitely be returning again.

Everything was perfect

The bungalow is very nice and comfortable, perfect for a couple or a family. Bernie and Frank left us a lot of snacks, and were available for recommendations and other tips. The location is perfect for a hiking trip in the Mourne Mountains.

The property was clean, in a quiet location and convenient for exploring the area with friendly and helpful hosts.

The weather!

Kilkeel bungalow is well cared for; spotlessly clean and Bernie & Frank the owners are very amiable. There's a plentiful supply of hot water and the easy to operate central heating warms the rooms quickly. The double bed is very comfortable as are the sofas in the lounge, and you can park your car directly outside the front door. Kilkeel harbour is around 15-20 minutes walk away, a great place to see what's going on and chat with the fishermen about how they work - keep an eye out for the local seals! In the town centre the Kilmorey Arms Hotel serves excellent bar food at reasonable cost.

Nothing to dislike at all. A measuring jug and kitchen scissors would have been helpful.
