Monawilline Cottage

This cosy spot served as a perfect base for us to explore the Isle of Arran. It was a welcoming retreat to return to after a long day of adventuring with the kids! Ideally located in the heart of the island, just a few miles from the port, it made everything accessible. Lamlash itself was lively, with great restaurants nearby, and a local food store just down the road where we picked up our breakfast treats. The nearby beach was an added bonus, offering a scenic walk back to the house when the tide was right.

The cottage was absolutely gorgeous. Warm, cozy, spacious and equipped with everything you need. Super comfortable beds, beautiful linen and fabulous shower. Fabulous waterfront location in beautiful Lamlash. Perfect location for exploring, restaurants and shopping. The kitchen was well equipped and it was fantastic to have a washing machine and indoor drying facilities. Helen was a wonderful host and we were made to feel very welcome during our visit. Highly recommend Monawilline Cottage and will definitely stay here again.

Cosy, comfortable and welcoming. A lovely place to hang out and relax, well appointed and tastefully decorated. Friendly hosts and a lovely part of Arran to explore.

Lovely location very well equipped comfortable bed great utility room. Very tastefully decorated/ furnished. Location within short walking distances of pubs/ restaurants & cafes.

The toilet been located downstairs. The tred on the stairs was narrow & unfortunately I slipped & twisted my knee.

The situation was excellent, cottage was very clean and cosy. Everything needed was provided. The lounge area was very nice as were the other rooms downstairs.

The beds were very narrow and the shape of the rooms made it hard not to bang either ur head or shoulders off the walls.
