Oaklodge House is an upside down house with the living quarters upstairs to make the most of the panoramic stunning views. The bedrooms were spacious and each had its own bathroom and small conservatory with chairs so you once again could enjoy the views with a morning brew. It was ideal for two couples. It was well equipped and spotlessly clean. It was in a great location in the centre of Leyburn in walking distance of shops and pubs and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay

We couldn't get the main TV upstairs to work. There was some discrepancy about the checking in time. On booking.com it stated arrival from 3pm, a few days before arrival I received a message to say it would be ready from 3.30pm but when I queried this said to just turn up at 3 and see if ready. When we arrived at 3pm they had just started cleaning it and it wasn't ready until 3.45pm. The cleaners said their properties aren't generally ready till 4pm so if that is the case it should state this on booking.com?

A very comfortable, immaculately clean and well equipped accommodation with beautiful views in a quiet location but just down a hill off the main square in Leyburn. Parking for two cars is an added bonus. A superb welcome pack was provided and a jug of milk in the fridge was a nice touch. Very welcoming and friendly hosts
