"Well appointed cottage in a perfect location"

Perfect location, made to feel welcome, nice little touches with tea, coffee available. Had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

A bit nervous parking, follow the host’s instructions to the letter and make sure you have someone on the road when pulling out of the arch.

"Motorcycle Stay for 2!"

Great location, fab if you are on a motorcycle, out of the way parking around by back door, very well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, pubs next door and another 100yds away, great Indian Restaurant 100 yds the other way.

Sofa bit uncomfortable for 2 people but a minor thing only.

Gorgeous cottage. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent location. Private parking. Dog friendly. Excellent communication with hosts. Backs on to castle. Nearby walks through fields with horses that leads to the canal. Just lovely!

Very central, quiet location. Well-placed for access to city centre, castle, cathedral, shops. Nice to have a parking spot (note, it's suitable for small cars, our Honda Jazz was fine). The cottage has some lovely historic features and has been sympathetically renovated to a high standard. Although small, it was ideal for us, as a couple. Kitchen and bathroom nicely-equipped. Extremely helpful owners who provided masses of useful local information.

"Lincoln is a lovely city to visit and the cottage was in a great location to be able to get around."

Location was excellent, close to the centre and to bars/restaurants/cafes etc. Cottage had everything we needed to make it a very enjoyable stay.

Parking although free was very tricky to get in and out of and put us off using the car to get around, luckily the central location meant we were able to get around on foot for most of the visit. Bed mattress was also a bit uncomfortable.

characterful Victorian cottage lovely and close to the castle and cathedral very clean and comfortable everything needed was there very bright and attractive

it was great but the stairs are very steep and varnished so need to be careful descending!
