DKIELocation is really quiet & peaceful, great for star viewing on a clear night. Nice walk to the pier at Dreenatra. It's almost equidistant by car to Schull (9mins) or ballydehob (8mins). The cottage is very well equipped with everything you need for a short stay.
Squeaky floorboard at the kitchen sink (but easily fixable). The split front door is a lovely feature for the warmer months, but it would be handy to latch both doors, as one, for easier opening and quick closing in the colder months.

GBCouldn't fault anything. Stunning location and peaceful. Easy access to travel.
GBIt was accommodation only but there was plenty tea, coffee milk sugar, etc for our requirements, plus plenty toiletries to tide us over, which meant less faff at the airport as no liquids to check. It was warm, dry and cosy despite the Baltic weather at the time. Very quiet and idyllic and you are left alone to do your own thing but help was there if required. Beautiful part of the country and an ideal place to decompress but only a few minutes drive to Schull or Ballydehob.
It isn't the easiest place to find but Google Maps took me there OK and parking can be a bit tight, but if you are in one car it'll be fine.
