Quinta da Galeira

Komplizierte Übernahme, da Niemand vor Ort war, den man fragen konnte. Wir mussten den Sohn, in Porto zuerst per Mail kontaktieren bzw. dann auch nich anrufen. Dieser erklärte uns dann, welche Wohnung wir im Voraus bezahlt haben. Der Eigentümer war nie vor Ort und spricht anscheinend kein Englisch.

Acqua non sempre calda

Lägenheterna ligger en bit upp från byn och har en fantastisk utsikt över Dourodalen. En liten bit att gå till restauranger och vinhus men utsikten är mer än värd det! Vi hyrde två trevliga lägenheter med två resp tre sovrum. Den mindre var modernt renoverad, den större i lite äldre mer rustik stil. Båda har generösa terrasser med utemöbler. Rekommenderar varmt!

The view is spectacular and the property was very quaint inside.

Coffee at property would be nice.

Fresh bread rolls delivered to the property every morning is lovely. Plus pasteis de nata, cheese biscuits and jam on the first day. View from the terrace over the Douro is fantastic - the downside is the steep walk up from and down to the town, but keeps you fit!

The location was exceptional. Really good recommendations left by host for good restaurants in area. Very responsive hosts.

Door to balcony difficult to open and close at times but host was responsive in suggesting how to manage it.

The location was perfect. The hosts were exceptional, we were left crackers, jam and fresh bread and local cakes. It was also a very nice touch to leave wine, beer and soft drinks to purchase - very helpful and made our stay even nicer. It was lovely to have access to a swimming pool as well.
