It was positive to be able to stay in Pinhao. There are few options.

The apartment was very clean and attractive but poorly furnished. The sofa bed was not well outfitted and resulted in a poor night's rest.

Pinhao je malé městečko v srdci nádherné krajiny plné strmých svahů a vinic. Bezvadný výchozí bod pro turistiku. Dalším zážitkem je jízda vlakem v údolí Douro. Ubytování bylo čisté, dobře vybavená kuchyň. V blízkosti obchody s potravinami. Za návštěvu stojí řeznictví řezníka Talho Qualifera – Quinta das Barrocas.

Pedro met us at the apartment and allowed us to check in early because we had arrived in town a lot sooner than expected. The location is great, and you can walk to just about everywhere in Pinhao.

The building is old and tired. The bathroom is tiny. A tall person must sit sideways on the toilet because it is so cramped. There are a lot of stairs to the apartment, but we expected that.

The property looks more or less like in pictures - all was clean, getting the keys and payment was easy, the bed was comfy. There is a nice small terrace at the back of apartment (no view though) to chill in the evening. Communication was very prompt and received some good tips from the host for our stay

Apartment could use a bit of updating/remodelling, but ok for short stay and you get what you see in photos. There are steep stairs to get to the apartment (not an issue for so), so be aware if you have heavy luggage or mobility issues.

Pedro war ein sehr freundlicher, aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Die Terrasse oben war ein herrlicher Platz zum verweilen.

Accueil super sympathique et chaleureux, logement sans prétentions mais très agréable et très bien situé.

Great property nestled in the heart of beautiful Pinhao in the Douro Valley. Spacious accommodation with delicious breakfast items left for self catering breakfast. Wine stomping season was a busy time for our host, but we were pleased to connect with him - he was very gracious and offered to store our bags after check out. The only small glitch was the stove top: the igniter didn’t work, nor did one burner (once neighbours conjured up a lighter). All in all, a fantastic stay!

No complaints - wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Location was great and Pedro was very nice and responsive.

The beds were advertised as two queens and one king. There were four twin beds in three rooms. The bathroom was so small you had to sit sideways to use the toilet. One bathroom was nearly unusable.
