Ongelooflijk dat iemand over deze verhuring een positief woord kan schrijven. De foto's op booking geven een totaal verkeerd beeld.In werkelijkheid zijn het voor het oog opgesmukte krotwoningen, klein, verdeeld in 2 woongelegenheden bereikbaar via 2 steile trappen (67 treden) en opgevuld met allerlei oude rommel meubelen, keiharde bedden, een piepkleine badkamer, een vieze sofa. Er hangt een muffe, schimmelreuk. Wat je ontbijt kan noemen dag voordien 2 pistolets, plastieken doosjes met wat charcuterie, potje boter (?'), geen koffie.. Het terras is een vuile rommelige bedoening. Heel beperkt licht binnen. En daarvoor betaal je 96 euro, schandalig veel.

Everything is within walking distance of the property, such as cafes, supermarkets, wineries, river and the train station. Pinhao is a relaxed place to visit. There are many things to do and quite a few tourists visit, but it is not hectic. Supplies like bread, meat and cheese were available in the fridge at the accommodation which was a nice touch. Pedro the host was very helpful and informative and made our stay easy and fixed any problems we had.

Spacious 3 bed apartment, good kitchen facilities, great views from windows of hillside and river in distance. Pleasant terrace at back for outside eating and relaxing. Quiet location. Good air conditioning. Our host Pedro is an invaluable asset, very friendly, helpful and always available if needed - with excellent English. Plentiful breakfast/lunch supplies were a bonus.

First impression of the outside is not great - many (60+) steep steps up to property would be a problem for some, and terrace has some shabby old sofas and chairs - although some newer ones as well. Needs a paint and tidy up! Despite its 3 bedrooms, bathroom in our apartment was very small, especially the loo space which a very tall person would struggle to use! The front door lock was very stiff but we managed by lifting the door. Hot water supply is a little eccentric but plentiful once you know how to handle it. A rather musty smell in the apartment. All fairly minor points but good to be forewarned. Pedro was a star throughout our stay and was able to smooth out any issues.
