Cosy had everything we needed arrival lamp on and heating made it cosy the hamper excellent

The cottage was warm and comfortable

Well where do I start Wifi shocking (needed it for work) wouldn't even stream the TV Major work on hotel so walking through a unsafe building site with lots of workers stood about gorping at us and sly remarks about my girlfriend (lad chat but not nice) Couldn't get car anyway near to the cottage due to the work so found it hard to pack

Good location for a peaceful setting amongst woods. Nice to walk to beach in approx 10mins. Lovely hamper on arrival. A smart but compact cottage suited our needs for a few days away near the coast. It was nice to have a 1hr walk at low tide along the beach to Whitby. The dog loved it.

The renovations at the nearby hotel were loud and they began at 6:30am which was not pleasant and unexpected and meant it was hard to relax. We were told about the renovations in advance but were only warned that it meant facilities couldn't be used, we didn't realise the proximity of the hotel having never visited before and so it was a suprise. It was disappointing for the price. It was hard to navigate to the property through the building site with vans blocking the road and not much signage. The bed could maybe do with a mattress topper to soften it a touch as it was very firm.

This cottage was in a lovely spot but a little far out and also there was a lot of building work going on round the hotel which was just round the corner to the cottage..

Was very cosy and idea for us as we had a dog with us so was a great place for her to run around

Nice location. Nice kitchen and living room. All the mod cons.

Tv on the bedroom wall was a nuisance as you kept catching it as you walked past, didn’t need the tv. Lack of curtains on the window facing you in the living room, and the curtains to the side when pulled to didn’t fully shut. Cob webs all over the place. The toilet seat was broken and the loo roll paper was crap. Also had to do an acrobatic manoeuvre to get out of the bath to avoid the toilet.

Was told it would have enclosed garden for dog which wasn't true. So annoying as we couldn't keep door open for him. Cleanliness was very poor. Dirty bathroom, alot of cobwebs, dirty cutlery in draw. Lots of scuff marks on walls Uncomfortable sofa. Not safe for dogs Main reason we booked was an enclosed space for dog and was not delivered

Location was really great - the property was v well equipped, and comfortable - would have liked a closed off garden/seating area.

Parking was not directly outside the cottage as I had expected.
