"Superb"

Quiet location with amazing views and sunsets over Whitby. Cottage had everything we needed. Friendly and helpful hosts.

If using the sofa bed for a 3rd person there isn't a lot of extra space but we managed fine for a weekend.

"Peaceful stay with views of Whitby Abbey"

Amazing views over the Whitby bay. We loved our evening walks in the fields and watching the sunset. The cottage had everything we needed and Debbie and Robert were friendly and helpful hosts.

"Rested in Robin Hoods Bay"

There was everything we needed and we had planned to eat out every night but we ended up having food in and didn't need to borrow or buy anything. We used the oven and all the kitchenware and it was all perfect for our needs. Robert and Debbie were lovely hosts, meeting us at the door in the pouring rain and offering to help with our bags. Nothing would have been any trouble for them and it was a short, small break in a wonderful piece of countryside. The meadow behind the cottage was lovely to walk in with the dog and watch the sunrise and sunset the white owl was a wonderful treat to sit and watch over the bay of Whitby and the silhouette of the abbey in the backdrop.

The cottage was a little smaller than we had realised so anyone booking needs to double check the size of the space. It was a little snug for 2 adults, an 8 year old and a cocker spaniel but it was all about space management and getting cozy but the space was clear to us at booking.

"Comfy cottage and Great host"

Debbie and Robert are super nice and made sure we are comfortable. The cottage is well thought of it got everything that you would possibly need, they even have bowl and treats for our dog. Overall an excellent experience. Would 100% recommend

"Peace and Tranquility"

Everything!! A perfect break away from the rat race. Peace perfect peace. Our 2nd visit and our next one already booked.

Having to leave and come back to the noise...we live in a quiet place but after the peace and tranquility of Thyme Cottage it even seems loud here!!
