"Great location but very poorly maintained property"

Location superb. Beds comfortable.

1. Shower did not work. We called twice, someone was meant to come & see to it but no one did. Eventually we got it to work after a great deal of effort. This is an ongoing problem - many other reviews say the same. 2. HEATING - another ongoing problem which many others have highlighted. It was 15 when we arrived, very cold, and took 6 hours even to get to 18. Not good enough. 3. Unsightly white stains on sectional sofa 4. Very hard to find at night - the map provided took us to Caedmon Prospect, miles away. Never experienced that before. 5. Overall, shameful neglect of what many renters have pointed out.

Fantastic location near the Abbey. Beautifully renovated property, with beautiful views across Whitby. I would definitely stay there again.

It initially wasn't clear how to get to the parking area, but we figured it out. This was a minor issue and would not be a problem in the future.

Parking was not clear were to park already cars parked Infront of property We were disappointed with the lack of outdoor seating, very confusing which was our outside area. Shower very difficult to use Lack of little things tea towels,oven gloves
