"If you lead a busy lifestyle and need to wind down, book in here now, you won't be disappointed!!"

9.0

The serenity of the property, as soon as you arrive, you instantly feel at peace, absolutely beautiful, if I didn't have other plans I would have stayed longer!!

The only downside was the fridge / freezer as the property is off-grid, the fridge is not able to keep cool enough overnight, you definitely cannot leave cold food items such as meat, milk, as they will go off quickly. I would suggest for the owners to provide a decent size chilly bin (Esky) whereby we can fill with ice and keep our cold produce cold. Other than that it was absolutely amazing!!! I will definitely come back!!

"Slice of paradise"

10.0

It was absolutely peaceful. The view was next level. Hamish was an amazing host. It had everything that we needed for an amazing stay. The hot tub was amazing and the wild life flying above the native first was next level. If you like to be off grid, enjoy nature and serenity of peace and quiet than look no further, this place had it all. We loved everything about the stay. The earth home was cute and quirky and had enough space to house our huge group. What an amazing space yous have created. Thank you for allowing us to share your space. We will be back.

There was nothing we didn't love

Beautiful setting, great experience for the kids.

Website said 11am checkout, Hamish manager asked us to be left by 10amwhich was fine. But on checkout day cleaners turned up at 8.15am asking us to leave as soon as possible as she had other things to do that morning. Our final morning turned out to be very rushed and stressed.

"Located in a spot of paradise. With a bit of work- anyone can enjoy!"

6.0

Great place to disconnect. Physically and mentally. Beautiful location. Able to get 2Degrees 4G in the front rooms. The pond and kayaks were a hit with the kids. Hamish, the only other person (with his 2 sons and placid dog) in the glade was a wonderful grounds person. Ever ready to help or provide local knowledge. Pizzas with the wood fire oven was a great family experience. As was the night spent reading a book from the library to the family after a long soak in the outdoor hot tub.

Rendered walls had spiderwebs and could have had some attention before we arrived. Likewise, tabletops covered with dust. Mismatched crockery and utensils had to be cleaned before use. Wasps inhabiting the rafters/ eaves. Half of the furniture is rickety. The other half old and full of history, though very comfortable. There should be insect repellent stuff provided. And insect killer for the more stubborn ones. Bed sheets and pillows are cheap quality. Some in our family are a bit more city slickers then they cared to realise, and while the concept of off grid and amongst resonates- these things hampered the experience in a way it shouldn’t have if there was a bit of prevention and preparation for a guest visit.
