Dove cottage

Gorgeous and clean

A small, well equipped, one bedroom, dog friendly cottage. Less than a minute walk to a wonderful beach and a short drive to a couple of towns. I didn't want to leave.

Location was ideal so close to the sea front, everything you needed was in the cottage very warm and cosy shops close by also

The cottage has been exceptionally thoughtfully furnished. Everything you might need has been considered, and it was an absolute delight to discover all the things that had been done. Washing tablets, fuel for the wood burner, lighters, plentiful glasses (including nice wine glasses) washing up liquid, tea towels, tin-foil, a cafetière for coffee etc Location is incredible, a handful of metres from the beach

Only comment is that I wish we'd known how well furnished the cottage is - we brought a fair few things we didn't need as they'd been provided! Not sure it constitutes a complaint though!

Nothing we didn’t like.

Everything been amazing at the property. Host is a very helpful and nice person, location is more than perfect with a lot of beautiful places around. Food is amazing at Lowther arm pub and dog friendly. Beds and accommodation itself is more than perfect and quite. We will 1000% going back. We want to thank also to the host for amazing service they provide.

Perfect base for exploring the area. Well equipped. Very relaxing. Clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

We loved the location, and the cottage was more than adequate for our needs and the cottage was very clean. We loved the fact that Phil came and introduced himself to us and pointed out where too eat and get groceries. Overall a lovely place to stay and we are planning to return. We are also telling our family and friends about this gem of a place.

This is a personal thing, but for us, the mattresses on the beds were too soft, but this it didnt impact our stay.
