Sea view cottage

Great location very clean and comfortable beds very comfortable overall house lovely

It's a proper dog friendly property very close to the shore, excellent views and the village centre is within walking distance either along the shore by the new section of coastal path. Vera the owner is very helpful if you need advice or help with anything.

Nothing to complain about

Cottage was homely, clean and comfortable. The bed was super comfy and we both slept really well. Great extras such as the coffee machine, board games, books etc. Well equipped with everything we needed and the log burner was great for a cooler evening. Perfectly located to the beach. Easy walk into Allonby. Vera, the host, was lovely and suggested places we could go for a meal etc. where our dog would be welcome. We found everyone in the area really friendly, which made for a lovely stay overall.

Nothing that would deter us from staying at the cottage again :)

Communication generally rubbish, left with little choice but to stay in a building site. Avoid at all cost.

A beautiful cottage with amazing views of varied landscapes. The host was very prompt at replying to all my questions, and even set up a wee Easter Bonnett upon our arrival. Very well thought off! Thank you x

Great property. I did not expect any Christmas decorations but we were welcomed with beautiful Christmas tree and loads of other little decorations. Makes it feel really nice and welcoming. Really amazing place to stay if you like quiet out of town stay. Which for us was just perfect.

This property is 100% dog friendly, they supply throws to cover every piece of furniture unlike some other properties in Allonby who say they are but only alow your dog in the living room. All the equipment you need for your stay is supplied.

Not a negative on the property but location if you want to walk into the village, the road is too dangerous so you have to walk along the shore in nice weather and daytime not a problem and a pleasure but bad weather and at night not so good.

We had a warm welcome by the owner who was very helpful regarding local information on where to eat and visit. The cottage was cosy with a very well equipped kitchen including coffee maker. There were plenty of logs provided for the log burner however we didn’t need to use it because the electric heaters were sufficient in October. We have two dogs that loved a morning walk on the beach - just a couple of minutes from the cottage and that was fantastic for us.

That was nothing we didn’t like about the property.
