Sea view cottage

Very nice accomodation with wood burner, and walking distance to the coast.

Great location, right at beach, short walk to local town with lovely pubs and eateries, great place for dogs, well equipped with rugs and blankets and even some toys and treats too!

Great location and comfortable cottage. The log burner makes it very cosy on a night.

Had issues with the shower. The host was very good at rectifying the issue and a new shower was fitted, however when used the next morning it was either too hot or too cold. Unfortunately we were leaving so didn't have time to report it.

Everything set out lovely, had everything you need. Even had a coffee maker and air fryer. Able to park right outside the door which was very convenient having 2 elderly gentlemen stay and the dog! Hosts were very welcoming and around to support with any issues. Cottage was lovely and cosy. Fire laid ready for us but didn't need to use it as weather was warm. Condiments and tea/coffee/sugar supplied along with basic toiletries which was a bonus. Games/DVDs also available. Bedlinen and towels were lovely. Plenty of storage. Lovely decor. Host notified us before arrival that some work was being carried out to the rear of the property but that didn't affect our stay. Dog blankets and treats supplied. Cottage was only 15 minutes drive from where my sister lives so suited us very well. We hope to stay again.

Shower kept going on and off when I was supporting the chaps with their showers so made showeringa bit difficult. I was advised it was due to the low water pressure. Also pitch black outside at night being at the end of a country lane and close to the junction with the coast road. Could have done with a torch to walk the dog before going to bed but situation was a little easier once we had got our bearings. No footpath so had to take extra care on the road.

The quietness and so close to the beach . Perfect spot to act as base to explore the lakes

Fully enjoyed the location

Location was just what we wanted. Quite and very close to the beach. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Everything you needed was provided.
