The whole experience

No heating as only 1 heater worked. Bathroom ceiling covered in mould. Side of the wall at the toilet full of mould. No over despite description stating fully equipped kitchen. No wood for fire. Wrappers/ bags left lying from wood from previous tenants. Have tried numerous times to contact host and no answer. Booking.com have also tried to get refund and no reply from Fabien.

Brilliant location, spacious and comfortable.

Nothing really.

Lovely location and a friendly host. The property is light and comfortable. Worth noting that the beds are bunks. Excellent shower and hot water supply.

La location est située dans un lieu vraiment enchanteur, avec une vue imprenable sur la baie de Uyeasound. Nous avons été absolument séduits par le calme et la sérénité du lieu. Fabien, notre hôte, nous a reçu chaleureusement et nous a donné des informations très utiles pour profiter pleinement de notre séjour sur Unst.

Dommage que nous ayons quelques critiques à formuler. Tout d'abord, le logement ne comporte ni volets ni stores pour occulter la lumière (surtout quand les nuits sont brèves) ou créer un peu d'intimité (l'appartement est au rez-de-chaussée et donne sur une petite route). Par ailleurs la propreté laisse un peu à désirer.

End of the world, (there are not many other options in the island Unst, out of that this one stands out), very spacious, outhentic. Fabien has a good sence of humor.

When you are alergic to mold, consider choose another place.

Fantastic location and views. Everything needed for a comfortable stay.

The location is good, for the view, the ‘cafe’ and getting around Unst - about 5 miles to nearest shop. Fabien is a friendly host.

As others have said, the cleanliness was OK but could be much better and the fixtures and fittings are very basic. Heating offered might be inadequate in cooler months. Blinds at the windows would make it more private and help with the summer daylight. Having said all that, there are plans to refurb in the winter so next year’s stay may be a different experience

Location perfect. Just what we were after for exploring Unst.

With minimal local eating out options, a small oven would have been helpful (beyond the microwave).
