Old building with plenty of character,large and spacious Good location,10 minutes bus ride from town centre Mini supermarket 100m away reasonably priced.

We expected our host Marta to be there & greet us,she didn't-not a good start. Also received vague directions on how to get to apartment after we had got off the bus wasted alot of time looking for correct address. Temperamental outside lock to access property,takes some patience & tinkering with. The bathroom & shower is not up to standard needs complete replacement,also next to no water pressure in kitchen area sink which is also very old and needs replacement. Beware 7€ per night city tax to pay also ALL restaurant charge 3 to 3.50,€ per person service charge,finally taxis are expensive be careful & get a price before you set off.

Very large and beautiful building in a safe location.

The heating wasn’t on yet and I’m just a cold person so this was a personal problem but not a major issue

The apartment is absolutely amazing. The best place I've ever stayed at. The location is great with nice restaurants and bars close by. Marta the host was so kind and helpful. We will definitely be back here again

La ubicación. El departamento tiene potencial, pero la host es poco profesional

La cocina está mal.ubicada.El grifo no funcionaba. El lavavajillas desbordó y Marta nunca se presentó a verificar el problema ni mandó un técnico. Nos obligó a pagar en el lugar, pero no podiá acceder en los horarios que podíamos nosotros porque debía retirar o llevar a sus hijos al colegio Eso es poco profesional. Debe respetar los tiempos de sus inqulinos ya que somos turistas y no debemos ajustarnos a sus problemas personales. Marta una decepción como adminostradora y host del lugar

The location was good. The communication with the host prior to our arrival was very good and she picked us up from the airport for 20€ which we appreciated. We also appreciated the milk and coffee. The host had a map and gave us eating tips which was also good. The apartment was clean and the beds comfortable. I liked the old world feel to the apartment.

The tap on the kitchen sink needs repairing. The place is quite dark. It’s fine for a couple of days but not for us if longer.

Perfect location for exploring old and new town Bergamo. Great traditional 2 bed apartment.

The location is great. Close to the old city. And very walkable.

I don't know how this apartment got such good ratings. The layout and architecture is charming, but the apartment is very neglected. There is mildew and black mold in the shower, the shower head is broken, and duck tape is used on the shower head holder. We booked for 3 adults and one baby, and were given one small hand towel and one towel for shower. We did not get additional towels until the afternoon of next day. The kitchen faucet has an epoxy like substance smeared all over but doewnt hold faucet in place.The faucet moves away from the cabinet's base. Low water pressure. The walls are stained with dirt drops, trim in the entire home is dirty. The rug is stained. The double doors to the balcony do not anchor into the floor so anyone can push them open to get i to the apartment. The pillows smell like old sweat and are uncomfortable hard. The host is rude via WhatsApp communication. They set up a portable baby bed for us which was not properly looked on one side. That side collapsed in the middle of the night, creating a crevasse our baby granddaughter rolled into face first. Luckily, her mom walk up at some point and noticed and took her out of the baby bed. When I told Marta and asked her to help lock the bed, she didn't respond. I had to ask her 3x. When i asked how breakfast works as it is included in priced, she immediately responded that this is not a hotel but a vacation home. Breakfast is a one time thing at arrival when they provide dry crackers (zwieback), little cakes wrapped in plastic like on an airplane), and cookies, small containers of jam, a piece of butter, a container of yogurt, coffee, tea, milk.....regardless of how long your stay is....and nothing fresh. The apartment smells of pipe tobacco which caused the brown dried drops, I believe, when you try to wash walls. When she comes for payment, she charges 7% extra for hospitality tax which I don't remember reading about. No receipt given.
