Casa Marta

We stayed 5 people. Everything was nice and comfortable. Also Marta’s mother is a cute person. Welcomed us warmly. The rooms are clean and big. I reccommend this casa.

the location was 10/10 in the beautiful neighbourhood, if someone likes old and climatic furnitures, he would like the place very much

contact with host was not on the booking (it was on whatsapp wile i do not have the app) which was problematic place could be a little bit cleaner

The apartment is tucked away in a little courtyard but is just a minute from a local bakery, bar, and bus stops to everywhere. It is nice and spacious, although the seating area isn't really suitable for 4 adults. Marta, the host, was excellent - always on hand if we needed anything. She was super nice and managed to book a table at one her favourite restaurants (La Scagna - can HIGHLY recommend it), despite it being a Friday evening. Overall, I would stay again if visiting Bergamo.

We enjoyed our stay, but it could have been excellent if there were a few more little details: a tea towel for drying dishes; some maps of the town and a few bus timetables; a capsule or 2 for the washing machine (who wants to buy a pack when you're only visiting for a few days?); a couple of patio chairs and a table for the balcony; a savoury option for breakfast (maybe some mini tubs of pate or cheese) as everything was sweet; some fresh bread instead of the prepacked 'toast'. Also, bear in mind that the double bedroom looks over a street that is quite busy, so keeping the window open to cool the room at night isn't really an option. Finally, we had real difficulty opening the door to the apartment - Marta was really kind and came down to open it for us as there is a 'knack'. We gave up and just left it open when we went out. These comments are just observations and based on our experiences of other apartments over the years.

Excellent location for accessing both Città Alta and Bassa. The apartment was in a lovely old building and furnished in character. Marta was a great host, friendly and helpful, even when our flight was delayed two and a half hours so it was almost midnight when we arrived at the apartment.

We have really enjoy our stay at Casa Marta. Apartment is spacious, clean and close to the city centre. Our host, Marta was very friendly and helpful.

The apartment was very big and clean. It was close to the bus station and if you walk you do 20-25 minutes to the train station. You have supermarket and a restaurant with good food near the apartment.

We stay in the apartment 4 nights, and we had breakfast included only for one day.

Beautiful property in the perfect location for exploring Citta Alta and further afield. If you don't want to walk too far, there are plenty of bus links to get around town.
