HORTUS HOUSE - Regency style apartment with attached parking

I arrived later then expected and Chris and Anne kindly met me in the drive coming into the parking and showed me where the keys were. I entered the property with ease and the outside lights were already on.

There was nothing I did not like about the property and my four nights there proved to be a blissful retreat - tastefully done, warm during an extremely cold spell and the bed was exceptionally comfortable.

This is a self catering property but the hosts left a nicely stocked fridge for us to use. We enjoyed the Regency Style decor. Super, large walk-in shower room. The host met us as we arrived and showed us the property and was on hand for us if we had any questions/needs. Ideal property for a couple and liked it so much that we have booked another stay at Hortus House.

There was soo much to like here, everything was beyond expectations, everything ‘‘twas thought of so if we didn’t want to we could have not left the property for the whole weekend

The apartment was super stylish and the bed was particularly comfortable. Quiet, cosy and spotlessly clean with everything required for perfect getaway. Plus a very warm welcome from our hosts!

There was nothing to dislike.

Character of the accommodation, hosts helpfulness , provided provisions beyond expectations. Shower was excellent and large.

Nothing, perfect

The location was about a mile away from the harbour , but a great walk , with pubs along the way, also easy to get to all the costal paths

Pretty and well decorated

The greenery to the parking area could be trimmed. It made getting out of the car difficult with wet shrubs being very close by. Also cat mess was stepped in twice, despite care being taken.
