Unique 1850s Tower Central Maldon Location

The location in the centre of Maldon was good. Its proximity to the Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome was great as we were there specifically to attend the Airshow. The house was indeed very tiny but beautifully furnished, super clean and adequately equipped with very clever use of all the available space.

Unfortunately it was just that little bit too tiny for us. The lack of parking close by to unpack the car was not great. The laneway used to access the house was constantly in use by the commercial and residential neighbours so it wasn't possible to park for even a very short time. Parking in the Butt Lane Carpark was a bit of a trek when having to take our luggage to and from the house. It was also quite expensive at £5.60 a day. The area around the house in the laneway was a bit grim with lots of household items /rubbish strewn about and dog waste that was not cleaned up was quite off putting especially in the mornings.

Centrally located, luxurious touches throughout! The bed was insanely comfortable... A definite 10 ⭐

Well furnished good tast

Got very hot in heat wave. Parking was a problem led us to organise our day around Parking.

Like Spinal Tap, I wish there was an option that allowed a score of 11 to be given - across the board. The Tower was simply stunning, just a wonderful place to stay, my only wish would have been that I had had less already organised around the area so I could have spent more time at the house and the local surroundings. I used a LOT of Booking locations but this was stand out the best yet
