Unique 1850s Tower Central Maldon Location

Great location, lovely town, 2 great micro pubs, Sark restaurant highly recomended

Smoke alarm went off every time we cooked anything. We resorted to making toast with the door wide open. Should be a heat alarm (Not smoke) in the kitchen, an easy fix

The decoration and facilities are superb! It makes you feel like staying in a well equipped , trendy holiday home. The host provided us with muffins and hot chocolate for the Easter holiday, very thoughtful of her. Very clean place. The house tucks away from the high street so you are away from the noise of traffic. The high street is so accessible and there are many options of restaurants and pubs. It's a nice little break for me. The river side is calm and beautiful in the evening before sunset. I'd never heard of Maldon being mentioned as a tourist destination but I think it's a lovely place to have a mini break or to live .

The house is absolutely beautiful and the host is great for if there is anything wrong, which there rarely is. The furnishings are comfortable and are of a high standard.

The only issue that some might have, is that you cant park on site. However, you get free parking as part of the fee at a local pay and display style car park. Personally I still park up to the house to load and unload the car.

The Tower was exceptionally well equipped and beautifully presented. We would definitely book again.
