Incredible location with amazing amenities and even better view. the rooftop jacuzzi is an incredible way of ending a hot summer night in style. The shower is amazing. The decoration and ambience is really good with the stone ceiling and the bed is really comfortable, I cannot stress this enough how important that is! The shower is powerful and even has some Turkish style jets to massage your back, although the jacuzzi will already do that pretty well.. Gerardo was really helpful and gave us some good food indications and must places to see. The flat is also very centrally located so it's a breeze to get anywhere in town from there. We often found ourselves coming back to leave things we bought so we didn't have to carry around. If you stay do yourself a solid and buy some local cheese and prosciutto or Parma ham and enjoy the evening in the balcony overlooking the sassi. You won't regret it!

Nothing! Things to note for other travellers (most people only read this part): There are stairs, if you have lots of bags be aware of this. Also because it's centrally located if you're looking for a complete secluded place there might be some noise a bit later in the evening, but close the windows and you can't hear a thing!

Great Location. Beautiful views. Very comfortable bed and linen. Good sized room. Rooftop spa and view were amazing. Bathroom had the best view in town. Beautiful fittings and fixtures in this apartment. The host Gerardo was always very helpful.

The stairs to the rooftop are very steep so be prepared but overall this was a perfect stay.

Cet appartement atypique est incroyablement cosy et bien aménagé. L’emplacement est incroyable, très central et la vue à couper le souffle depuis la terrasse sur le toit. L’environnement est calme pour la nuit. Et l’appartement est facilement accessible à pied depuis les parkings hors zone à trafic limité. Le propriétaire est super et plein de bons conseils pour visiter Matera dans le meilleures conditions.

The appartment was amazing.Top location! The terrace and the view from it was beautiful.Gerardo our host was so gentle and friendly.I reccomend this apartment to anyone who stays for a night in Matera

Posizione centrale per la visita di matera, vicino al parcheggio per auto, camera confortevole con tutti i servizi.

Great location near centre and lovely view from bathroom. Excellent communication from host. Lots of towels, toilet paper. Roof top terrace was a lovely place to sunbathe, have sundowners, watch the birds and enjoy the views. Had mosquito mesh over all the windows so could keep them open all day with no chance of flies and mosquitoes entering. Had to park up by the castle and walk with cases as no parking near the apartment, but host gave clear instructions as to the ok place to park. Host provided all the details about nearby supermarkets and recommendations for restaurants and things to do.

No kettle so had to boil water in pan. Very small fridge - hotel room size. Stairs to terrace are very steep so not for the elderly. Would prefer a choice of pillow sizes as I found it too thick, but my husband was ok. Should have flatter pillow as an option.

Das Apartment ist super gelegen, schön eingerichtet und die Dachterrasse ist herrlich. Die Anreise ist praktisch, da es gleich am Rande der Sassi gelegen ist. Wir haben alle Infos am Anreisetag per Whatsapp erhalten, was reibungslos funktioniert hat.
