This wonderful apartment is hidden behind a door in the street from where you ascend into the beautifully designed living area. There’s a small kitchen and bathroom and a spacious bedroom. There is the most incredible view from the bathroom. If you continue up the stairs there’s a hot tub on the flat roof. It is a unique experience sitting in the hot tub overlooking the Sassi. There is easy access to the sights of Matera and also easy access to the modern town with its supermarkets and amenities. The host was very helpful in providing information to guide our stay and very responsive when we had questions. I would highly recommend this place, it is truly amazing!

L'appartamento è una vera bomboniera nei sassi. La finestrella nel bagno e il terrazzino che danno sul sasso Barisano sono qualcosa di magico, la sera soprattutto. Posizione perfetta per visitare sia la città nuova che i sassi. Un posto magico. Gerardo veramente super disponibile. Abbiamo avuto un problema con la caldaia ed è stato prontamente da lui risolto. Tutto perfetto.

Gerado was such a great host, very welcoming and informative and the property is absolutely beautiful. Very well situated in the Sassi district, close to the restaurants and bars. Very well maintained and equipped, with a roof top jacuzzi to relax in and take in the absolutely breathtaking views. Would definitely recommend and return to this property.

Location was perfect right in the heart of the historical centre with stunning views. The rooftop terrace was a real plus, where you could dine, relax, enjoy the view. There is even a Jacuzzi. The apartment has everything you need for two people and was tastefully furnished with attention to design.

Gostitelj je izredno prijazen in je podal vse potrebne informacije že pred prihodom v nastanitev. Nastanitev je lahko dostopna iz varovanega parkirišča. Lepo in moderno opremljeno ter izredno čisto. S terase je čudovit razgled na Matero, prav tako tudi iz kopalnice. V zimskem času je stanoanje dobro ogrevano. Enostaven dostop do starega mestnega jedra. V bližini so trgovine, restavracije in bari. Vse je bilo popolno. Žal nama je samo da nisva ostala dlje časa.
