Location of this compact property is superb, steps away from the sea and main square of Cascais while also extremely close to many excellent restaurants. Soundproof shutters mean no disturbance at nighttime despite the central location. Duarte was a very accommodating host who facilitated our request to check in slightly early and also gave us a brief tour of the neighbourhood and recommended some local restaurants. It is a great base for a short stay in Cascais and everything matched the description.

As mentioned in some other reviews, the mattress is quite hard and not the comfiest. There is some extra bedding/blankets which can be used to soften this. The fan is also quite loud.

Location was perfect , the sea around the corner, beautiful restaurant and café up the road Very safe The house was a dream you just felt at home Some evenings we had our dinner outside our door ,with a tree with orange coloured flowers.

Beautiful location. Very cute property. Had everything you needed and more. The host was lovely and showed us around the local area and gave us tips of where to eat. Very responsive and flexible. We left some clothes in the property after checking out and he helped to get them back to us. Thankfully our family were still in the area as we went over to Lisbon for a few nights. Lovely stay :)

Everything was perfect. Everything you need is available in the apartment - microwave oven, coffee machine, stove, oven, washing machine, oil heaters, extra blankets, etc. The owner of the apartment is very friendly, he welcomed us at night, showed us how everything works, told us where to look for the best restaurants. From the apartment to the ocean is about a minute by the shortest path. Staying in this apartment was a great choice.

Since we were in early spring, the apartment was very humid. Rain-soaked clothes were difficult to dry, but luckily there were heaters that helped a lot.

This apartment was gorgeous! Only a minute walk to the beautiful beach and bars, restaurants, mini marts and shopping. Very cute little apartment with everything you need including a washing machine free to use. I would recommend this place to anyone wishing to stay in Cascais! 😍 The host Duarte was absolutely lovely and very helpful - giving us a tour of all the local bars and restaurants and available within a minute if we had any issues, as he lives in the building. He met us on arrival late at night to show us everything and answer and questions we had. As two young female travelers, we felt very safe there. Thank you Duarte!!

The stairs from the bedroom to the living area are a hazard and not suitable for elderly/young children or anyone unsteady. Particularly difficult to get down safely in the middle of the night.
