"Ideal Location"

The apartment is located in a former wine and tobacco shop. The front of the building is covered in beautiful, traditional Azul tiles. The location is ideal! A quick ten minute walk to most attractions - old town, the citadel, Cascais Marina, Marechal Carmona Park, Condes de Castro Guimarães Museum, Case de Santa Maria, etc. It’s about a fifteen minute walk to/from the train station. We took the train into Lisbon three times during our stay. Our host Duarte was great! He lives in the building and was accessible anytime we had a question. After showing us around the apartment, he took us on a quick, walking tour of the neighborhood pointing out his favorite restaurants. We tried Somos Um Regalo, Restaurantante O Continho Da Belinha and A Leitaria. All delicious!

The bed wasn’t very comfortable. A mattress topper would make a world of difference. The apartment could use better/additional seating on the first level, perhaps a small love seat? It was little noisy during the day as construction was going on next door. With that being said, it didn’t start until 9:00 and ended by 3:00.

Beautiful accommodation tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the town while only being less than a minute walk to the beach and restaurants. Duarte was a great host who took time during check in to show us around the area and recommended local restaurants and cafes. The accommodation was spotless and had everything we needed, even a beach umbrella! Would definitely stay here again if we were to return to Cascais. Excellent value and no complaints.

really nice place to stay in Cascais! near everything with a really nice host. you can bring the table outside to have a wonderful terrace. Also the washing machine is perfect if you travel light with a backpack.
