Jacaranda

The place was spacious with lots of natural light. The host asked us what we needed. There were lots of kitchen and non-kitchen supplies (tape, etc). Plenty of space to spread out. Breakfast table and Dining table and "coffee table" (piece of glass on an outdoor side table). Lots of chairs. Radiator heat worked well.

This place was not cleaned properly, nor prepared for a visitor to feel safe or welcome. Standard areas that should have been cleared and cleaned before our arrival- the freezer, the front closet, the carpet, pantry, kitchenware (knives, pans, utensil tray) and "fishbowl". A rental property should have clean ( non-stained) bedding and clean-smelling towels and linens. I never want to stay in place that can't be secured well. Most of the chairs ( fabric) were stained and impossible to clean thoroughly. The pink carpet needs to be steam cleaned. The basement door from inside the kitchen is barely secured (to access the separate basement studio apartment).
