1*Some hidden costs: -We did not pay attention in the description that we need to pay extra 90 euros for bed sheets and towels -We were asked to pay 70e for the cleaning service before the check-in -We were asked to put away the trash or pay 20e - city taxes Considering all these adding fees we could get a better option with a better value for money 2*For people sleeping downstairs you have to know that you'll listen to everything from upstairs (every step sounds like crazy because the wooden floor creaks/ listen even if people whisper). In theory we could be 6 people but it was really not practical to be 6 there...

De locatie was fijn.

We konden niet de airco aanhouden als we weg gingen, of meerdere airco’s tegelijk aanhebben (dan viel de stroom uit). Wat ervoor zorgde dat het snikheet was wanneer we terugkwamen en het 2 uur duurde voordat het aangenaam was. Met kinderen is dat niet prettig. Daarnaast kwamen er extra milieukosten (20 euro), en schoonmaak kosten (70 euro) bovenop.

Appartamento molto grande con sette letti e due bagni. Non manca nulla. Staff perfetto. Arrivano video con tutte le spiegazioni attraverso whatsapp. Al nostro arrivo ci hanno fatto trovare una bottiglia di vino di qualità. Super.

Ottima struttura. Dispone di diversi confort. Servizio navetta eccellente, sono venuti a prenderci in aeroporto e hanno provveduto a lasciarci. Abbiamo chiesto di farci trovare la cena ed hanno provveduto a tutto. Staff organizzato. Molto pulita. È importante però coordinarsi con i proprietari qualche giorno prima. Ma anche se non lo fate si ricevono molti messaggi ed e-mail qualche giorno prima.

The location is excellent — 8–10 minutes to the beach and near Cefalù's pedestrian zone.

Upon arrival, we were informed that we had to take our own trash 500 meters away or face a fine of €50. This was not communicated before booking. The apartment was not properly cleaned — I noticed sand on the floor as soon as I took off my shoes. Also, the ad said free public parking was available on site, but we were told we needed a special permit and had to park near the cemetery, a 10–15 minute walk away. Overall, the lack of transparency and disregard for basic guest comfort made this stay frustrating.

Before we used the kitchen, we had to clean things. Extra charge for cleaning, bed linen introduced us.

The location was convenient and the little balcony had a nice view.

The host was very unwelcoming. Did not communicate in English and did not use the Google Translate to at least try. The air conditioning was broken and did not work properly for nearly three days! It took enormous energy to host to acknowledge that and send a technician. The AC pipe had a hole with gas leak and it took another day to fix so it was fixed at 22:30 the night before our morning departure. The place was not clean, bath tubs particularly, bath mats, carpet, walls etc. the place is not take care of. There was not free parking on site as advertised and we had to part on long term parking for 24eur / day.

Location was great for walking to old town and beach. Number of beds and second bathroom was nice for our group. AC cooled pretty well. Only had to reset the power breaker once.

Keys were not where they should have been so someone had to come let us in, which took much longer than they estimated. There was no parking available even though it was listed in the booking description as "onsite" and all the street parking and nearby lots requires a resident pass, except for maybe 3 spots. The fridge was broken and so our food spoiled and we couldn't chill our drinks. The showers each had a door broken (off track). The apartment didn't seem like it had been cleaned, yet we were required to pay the full cleaning fee upfront before access was granted to the property (listing said "up to 50 euro" to be paid at the end of stay). Closet had a backpack from a prior guest and bathroom floors were dirty. Since the electricity key was attached by a lock to the door key we could not leave it on to charge devices while going out. Cabinet with circuit breaker is located very high and not easy to reach. Also there is separate fee for towels, sheets and toiletries was disappointing for a holiday house. Felt like the one providing information hadn't been to the property in awhile.

The location and facilities, Domenico was extremely helpful too, we would highly recommend staying here, it’s perfect for discovering Cefalu

Nothing really

The owner was kind enough to pick us up at the airport in Palermo. The location is okay, very busy street. The beds in the apartment were very comfortable, the best we had during our three weeks in Italy.

Interior stairs no railings, lighting goes off too soon. Toilet paper not provided, expected to remove all of the trash you had to a location down near beach. Electric system kept going off and had to reset breakers ourselves eight times the last night there.
