Rathgillen House

It was mostly great! The host is incredibly attentive and will do whatever it takes to make your stay very comfortable. There is enough room for everyone and a good living space that accommodates all guests. The WiFi is good, the kitchen is large, and you coil definitely cook and spend as much time as you want there.

There is this one thing the property needs to work on. It’s a big deal though. The sewer is on a septic tank and the smell seeps through the rooms. On our second night, the house was unbearable because the smell was so bad. I didn’t know how to contact the host at that time but it was sooooo stinky. I wouldn’t stay there again unless the sewer system was fixed somehow.

It was very spacious and the beds were so comfortable. Everything u needed was there. Loved the fire...it was a real asset as the weather was miserable. Peter was lovely and friendly

The shower was not very warm and the shower head wasn't working properly

Peter the host was very friendly and full of information. Lots of space, we were a group of 8 and had plenty of room. The house was nice and comfortable with the heating setting just perfect.

If i was being picky, to access on of the bedrooms, you walk through another bedroom. But being a family, it was no problem for us.

It was a lovely, spacious cottage.

Great conditions, nice and warm place.

Coffee machine didn’t work

The location was beautiful the wood burning stove and a real homely touch.
