lovely big house plenty of space well stocked with cutlery plates a few pans for self catering and casserole dishes. lovely to find a few cupboard staples too including toilet roll

a few more pans for cooking as no big ones and only one frying pan which is not ideal when cooking large volumes for a big group

Peter, the host, was very personable.

Fabulous house. Twelve of us stayed there this weekend for a family occasion nearby and it was an amazing place to be. An extremely spacious house with plenty of room for us all. Warm and clean with everything we could have needed and we will definitely stay again. We would highly recommend this house and thanks to Peter, a very friendly and helpful host.

What a fantastic place to stay! We were blown away by the size of the accommodation, the friendliness of Peter and the value for money at this property. We stayed here to attend a wedding in Cabra Castle and it was fantastic. We easily got a taxi home from the wedding and it was lovely to come back to! Peter met us when we arrived and was so warm and welcoming! The place was spotless and would highly recommend Rathgillen House for a stay.
