Rathgillen House

Absolutely fantastic property. Farm house very well equipped and everything very clean and comfortable. Peter was an amazing host and nothing was too much trouble! He definitely went above and beyond when anything was asked of him. We would definitely return 😃

Beautiful property and location. we loved being together as a family, and even got to light a fire during the cold evening hours. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms plentiful and both bathrooms and kitchen had what we needed. it was a treat to be here.

The property, though worth it, was further from the village of Kells than we had anticipated. However, it was worth the stay. we were worried about charging our electric vehicle, and Peter found a way to help.

Rathgillen House was even better than its description. We had 6 adults and 2 young children, and the house was spacious and comfortable for all of us. Our grandson loved the toys! Peter, the owner, was wonderful. He personally welcomed us, answered our questions, and suggested a great place for dinner- Cross Guns. When we mistakenly went over our time the next morning, he was gracious and gave us a little more time to leave. It was a pleasure to meet him!

When I saw the fireplace I was very happy, fire was even set for us. The tables even had Christmas table cloths and a Christmas tree was up in the living room

Only minor detail was my bed was exceptionally noisy when I moved slightly think it was because it was wood on a wood floor.

we had such a lovely time, it was so comfortable and so well equipped for our family. With a cot, highchair and toys for the kids we couldn’t ask for more.

Great value, warm and comfortable! No complaints.
