The Potters Cottage

Location so central. All conveniences in cottage. Very comfortable bed, plenty of towels and everything spotlessly clean. Even a hot water bottle.

Walking distance from Clifden

Small bottle of milk on arrival would have been good

Host's were warm and welcoming and location spot on

My phone signal was poor and WiFi hit or miss but not the end of the world

We loved everything about The Potters Cottage. Lovely location, beautifully presented, well equipped and comfortable.

The cottage was very nicely decorated and easy to walk down to the town. Michael warmly greeted us upon arrival. Pots, pans, dishes etc all provided. Beautiful property

Rita and Michael were great hosts, and the cottage was super comfortable - just the right amount of space.

Accommodation absolutely top class, hosts most welcoming, and a very quiet peaceful spot. It was ideally located for our 2 day trip to all the local sights, Kylemore Abbey, Connemara National Park, and Clifden itself, a treasure trove of knick knack shops and plenty of variety for places to eat out. And a MUST do for anyone who enjoys the outdoors, the walk to Omey Island (10min drive away) from the mainland when the tide is out, absolutely magnificent, don't cheat and drive across like some do, get your feet wet, like we did, shoes and socks off as the tide was just going out when we arrived, its less than a 10min walk across. And you can tell everyone you went abroad for the day, because you were !
