The Potters Cottage

The place was nice and cosy, and the fireplace was handy and made the duration more romantic. The location is well suited for our choice.

The water heater was too small. You have to choose between washing or doing the dishes. The hot water was not enough for two adults showering one after the other, nevermind if my partner would have liked to wash her hair too. Find out with a cold shower sadly. Also, i think there were too many reminders of "rules" around the property, and "request" that the guests to remove the bedding, and clean up and what not. You get the picture. Based on the above mentioned facts, i wouldn't recommend booking this place, until the owners make sure the hot water is enough. The place has potential. But It need corrections.

This is an exceptionally attractive conversion of a very old cottage in a delightful garden setting. Well equipped, spacious and a pleasant walk into Clifden, which is itself an interesting and attractive small town. Very friendly hosts.

Great little cottage equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Very comfy bed!

No steady WiFi connection. It only sometimes connected to our phones but that didn't really bother us. We just had a relaxing evening playing card games.

Cozy, well furnished, easy to find, great location, approx 15 min safe, easy walk to town

Spacious, private and comfortable. Lots of great appliances and tools. Fireplace a really nice touch. Views of garden very relaxing.

No wash clothes, no top sheet on bed. Single faucet in bathroom would be preferred.

Lovely little cottage, very friendly and helpful host. Great location - easy, 10 mins walk into middle of Clifden.
