Convenient for the New Forest

1. Mooie omgeving. 2. Heerlijk wandelen, meteen naast het huisje een public footpath; en ook in Downton meerdere mogelijkheden. 3. Aantal faciliteiten waren splinternieuw, waarschijnlijk gedaan n.a.v. eerdere reviews. Dat is keurig! 4. Binnen no-time zit je in de New Forest, prachtig wandelgebied. 5. Mooi Nespresso automaat, mag zeker in de advertentie benoemd worden. 6. Mails die van te voren naar de eigenaars werden verstuurd, werden keurig beantwoord.

Geen klachten, wel enkele tips: 1. Benoem in de specificaties dat het 2-persoonsbed 1.40 mtr breed is. 2. Misschien wat meer bestek en serviesgoed (mokken). Ook al is de vaatwasser klein, toch ben je snel door serviesgoed (mokken) en sommige bestek heen. 3. Even wennen dat de accommodatie vlak naast een doorgaande weg ligt.

Quiet location but close to the new forest, lovely forest/park on the other side of the road and around, perfect for walks. The barn is lovely, charming and welcoming, perfect to switch off and relax.

The Kitchen area had everything needed and a full size fridge.

The photos made it look much bigger than it is. Although the kitchen has plenty of space the lounge and bedroom is snug with a double bed in the bedroom. The shower is very snug no good if you are a larger person and the shower head needed replacing as its quite small and some of the flow leaks out the side. There was building work going on next door, we should of been told about this as they started quite early. I think if the photos were more honest we would of still booked but known what to exspect. The road is quite noisy but ok if the window is shut.

The location was great for us. Easy access to Salisbury and the New Forest. A great base for a weekend away. Easy access to local shops, pubs and takeaways. It's off the road and very private. The character of the place was amazing. Plenty of parking and the hosts were helpful when we arrived. Kitchen facilities were ace. Everything you need.

Only very minor issues are that the shower cubicle was very small and we found it hard to regulate the temperature in there.

Perfectly equipped, very warm and comfortable accommodation. Beautiful location within walking distance of Downton village. No need for a car as buses to Salisbury are frequent.

The just was lovely and the area of the New Forest is a pretty place. The sitting area was very comfortable

We had a problem with the shower screen breaking and very low flow shower. Everything was explained by the host and plans are in place to remedy the bathroom situation. The bedroom was tiny and no room for suitcases. A bigger bed would be nice
