Hakusan Japanese-Style House

Staying in a traditional Japanese house with the sliding doors and the urinal in the bathroom. Very close to a restaurant and supermarket. Also a nice place for coffee and breakfast is Cafe and Tokidoki Bar nearby.

No taxis after the sun goes down. Even during the day. It's a 750 metre walk from Tsurugi Station so wheeled luggage is a must have item.

Very otentic experience

This is off road hard to find apartment . The mattress was too thin it’s actually felt like sleeping on the floor and there was bad odor from the fireplace although it was not not working

周りを気にせず、自由に過ごすことができました。

Beautiful, spacious traditional home. Host is extremely responsive via messages.

We would have liked a better indication of where to park before our stay. My wife was slightly uncomfortable that the home adjoins another residence, connected by a hallway - I believe it is the proprietor’s father who lives there - but this didn’t bother me.

Incredible traditional house, it was like a dream, a jump in time. A bit cold in winter but the (big) room was warm, extra soft blanket, comfortable futon. Just like in the pictures.

there is no physycal separation between your part and a hos't part in the building - the corridor is common for both without even a door a lot of mold at the bathroom microwave is in the bathroom :) poor maintanance of facilities the host admited that the lite in frigider room doesn't work, instead of changing the bulb :) seems as a little of neglecting your guests..
